Beautiful Danish teak tambour sideboard from the mid century period.
Mid-Century Roll-Top Cabinet in Teak

Designed in  Denmark in the 1960s, this compact teak sideboard/cabinet has been made to a very high standard. 

The slits that create the tambour doors are hardly noticeable and therefore barely interrupt the wood grain.
The doors slide open effortlessly as they should to reveal 2 height-adjustable and removable shelves on each side of the unit.

Featuring minimal clean lines and sliding tambour doors making the cabinet ideal small spaces.
Made of warm dark teak wood with a rich color and beautiful natural grain. 
The design is simple, elegant, and timeless.

This piece functions perfectly as a media console, hallway living credenza, or a bedroom sideboard.
 
On both sides are tambour roll up doors 
Each door has beautifully rectangular designed recessed handles.
A Lovely detail is the raised edge at the back of its top
Inside, there is practical storage space, ideal for tableware, documents, or everyday items.
Fitted with 4 shelves, which are height adjustable. They can be located all in one side, or 2/2 or 1/3
The piece stands on solid teak legs, giving it a strong and refined look. 
The unit has its original brass lock but not key available
Constructed from teak veneer and solid teak
 
Condition:
Good vintage restored condition.
The furniture has been professionally and carefully restored 
Still visible signs of repairs: on its top and on the right hand side
Some wear visible: scratches, dents and fading
Structurally solid and stable.
