A Mid Century teak dressing table produced by White & Newton with six drawers and carved handles.

A beautifully designed and constructed dressing table with original teak framed dressing mirror above. 
This is a very elaborate piece with a unique design that wraps around the legs and sides of the frame, and a handle carved in a bright curve that adds an accent.

It is a beautiful design and in such exceptional condition for it’s age – clearly loved and taken care of. 
The piece is a really good weight to reflect the quality of materials and production. 

Made in the 1960’s by White & Newton of Portsmouth (label still present for authenticity). 
The mirror can easily be removed should you prefer a dressing table without the mirror or to use as a desk or console table. 
Fantastic lines and style to spoil yourself with a gorgeous dressing table.

White & Newton was a prominent British furniture manufacturer based in Portsmouth, established in 1924 by H.F. Newton and James F. White. 
They became renowned in the 1950s and 1960s for high-quality, Scandinavian-influenced teak and rosewood furniture. 
Key designers included Arthur Edwards and Phillip Hussey, famous for stylish, linear mid-century modern furniture.

The piece is in very good condition overall, with expected signs of use typical of mid-century and vintage furniture.
