A Mid century Teak Remploy Coffee Table dating to the late 1960s.
British Made
This lovely example has rectangular ‘floating’ top design.
It stands on 4 solid teak square tapered legs.
It comes complete with its Remploy makers mark and a military army arrow underneath.
It is most likely ex-military item.It Is fashioned from a gorgeous Solid Teak and has achieved a fabulous deep honey coloured patina over time.
Straight, modernist lines, slim tapered legs and simple, neat design.
It would make a fabulous addition to a Mid Century or contemporary interior design scheme.
Remploy were a top quality furniture makers and by the mid 60s where creating pieces in a Danish style in direct competition to other makers of the same era such as Gplan and Mcintosh.

Comes in excellent preloved vintage condition.
Ready to use condition.
Some very light usage scuffs here and there and light fading on its top.
