The Stag Cantata Teak Chest of 5 Drawers / Tallboy 60s
A teak tallboy chest of five drawers, from the Cantata range designed by John and Sylvia Reid for Stag Furniture. 

Four equally spaced drawers above a deeper drawer at the bottom - the top two separated from the bottom three by a batten. 
Simply sculpted teak pull handles.
A very practical and attractive piece of furniture offering a huge amount of storage.

It is a stylish and practical piece of furniture 
Made of  teak wood with a medium wood tone and a natural finish, this rectangular chest of drawers features a door knob handle and generous proportions. 

This mid-century modern piece exudes a timeless elegance and sophistication.
It adds a touch of British craftsmanship to any room.
Stag furniture was a popular mass market British manufacturer in the 1960’s and 1970’s.
They employed John and Sylvia Reid as design consultants. 
This chest of drawers is from the Cantata range they designed and follows their well known understated minimalist style.
 
Condition:
In good vintage condition, commensurate with age with light signs of wear. 
All the solid wood handles are in excellent condition with no splits or cracks. 
There is some  sun fading on the top of the chest. 
Interior clean.
