Unique and rare British Mcintosh low-profile chest of drawers.
Designed by Tom Robertson by the renowned 
Manufacturer McIntosh of Kirkcaldy, circa 1967.
 
Originally part of a large piece from the rare design ‘Drummond’
Converted to a nightstand/ chest of drawers with handy pull-out shelf.
Sleek and very substantial made of teak
 
The Chest  has three drawers and a pull-out top with profiled handles
The top shelf serves as surface for reading material or drinks.
Finished in black Formica
The 3 spacious drawers have finger joints and the top one has been lined with black vinyl.
This bedside table is ideal for Modern platform beds.
Pretty front  and gorgeous grain
Raised on castors for easy movement and avoid damage to the bottom of the unit
 
No need to compromise size for function.
The figuring and rich color on the teak is exquisite.
Like a jewel, the look of the wood transforms as light moves through the high and lows tones of the wood grain.

Please note as this was previously a part of a bigger unit the left hand side of the unit has a different panel side and edges as the right side
