Rooted in the organic modern tradition associated with Charlotte Perriand and a broader lineage of mid-century designers who favoured raw materials and traditional craft techniques.
 
The piece combines a simple, solid wood base with a tightly woven rope seat, emphasizing function, durability, and material clarity.
This approach can also be seen in the work of Pierre Jeanneret and later designers such as Axel Vervoordt, who continued to explore the relationship between natural materials, restraint, and everyday use.

The stool comprises a hand-turned frame in Beech wood, with the seat woven from Abaca rope.
Thick decorative legs, and beautifully woven seagrass seats.
