Lovely Vintage 1950s Plywood School / Theatre  Chairs.

Iconic plywood vintage chairs with a classic simple style.
Manufactured most probably by Lamstak
 
This is one of our favourite models of chairs. 
It was an iconic school, Church, community chair of the 50’s. 
Lamstak was a large producer of chairs in the mid century period. 
They pioneered making chairs using laminated beech bentwood for strength and these are classic examples. 
 
The chair frame is made of strong laminated beech with laminated ply seats and back supports. 
These chairs are perfect for a vintage or Scandi-inspired dining room, retro kitchen, kids bedroom and more.....
When inter locked are just fabulous, amazing for a unique dinner space, entrance or any business waiting area
They look good in any period home or setting.
 
Beech plywood seat and back rest with a lovely shape and curved edges for a more comfortable experience.
Design with compass legs that allow for convenient stacking.
Small grey metal clips enable chairs to be linked if necessary.  These can be removed if not needed. 
These chairs conveniently stack for an incredibly small size for easy storage, or would make for fabulous feature permanent dining chairs.
These seats are adult height, perfect for dining use.
 
Condition:
Good professionally restored condition
All 4 chairs have been fully striped, sanded and re-oiled.
Still showing traces of use (dents, marks, small loose of veneer...)
