Large sized table lamp, handmade in England in the 1960s/70s.
The styling of this light is very much in vogue with designs from Marianne Starck for Michael Andersen & Son
Stoneware table light decorated in earthy speckled dark brown glazes upon a light brown/sand background.
It is signed by the artist on the bottom: RM
Torquil Pottery of Henley in Arden, Warwickshire.
The pottery was founded in 1960 by Reg ereMoon and his wife Mag and traded successfully as a pottery and gallery until closure in the earlies 2000s
