Italian dining chair crafted by Plurima that where retailed through Habitat in the late 1970s early 1980s

Bauhaus inspired Italian Plurima design

Chromed steel and plywood cantilever chair.
Drawing inspiration from the sleek bent tubular frames of the Bauhaus, the balance of chrome and moulded birch plywood offers an elegant look while ensuring an ergonomic feel. 

The light flex in the cantilevered design gives a soft bounce to the chair,  all the while maintaining a firm and stable structure.
While this style is often seen with leather upholstery, the plywood seat and back feels more contemporary and offers a beautiful tone, still with the original finish. 

Perfect for use as dining chair or as part of a workspace, the simplicity in both design and materiality lends these chairs to a number of suitable settings.
 
Condition report:
Good original condition.
Minor marks on the chairs backs and seat (small chip pictured),
The chrome has been polished, the chrome tube at the back shows wear and tear (pictured)  
The rest in good condition with only minor pitting
