A stunning nest of G Plan coffee tablesG-Plan Quadrille
Launch date: 1965
Finish: Teak
Designer: R Bennett
Features: Simple style, teak.

Designed by R. Bennett designed for G-Plan in the 1960’s these tables are manufactured from teak and given the name ‘Quadrille Nest of Tables’ due to the geometric boxed legs.
However the inside of the solid teak frames are curved, giving them a simple but stylish elegance.
Each nesting table has a rectangular top and a stretcher across the back.
Nest of tables having a set of three graduating tables.
They are simple and elegant at the same time and are multi-functional as they can be kept as a nest or spread around a home or office as plant stands, side tables or nightstands.

A classic design by G-Plan, introduced c.1965 and still being produced in the early 80’s .

By the 1960s, G-Plan embraced the Scandinavian design wave, collaborating with Danish designer Ib Kofod-Larsen to create collections like the Quadrille range.
These tables, with their sleek lines and elegant proportions, reflect the perfect marriage of British craftsmanship and Scandinavian minimalism.

The epitome of living room style of the late 1960s & 1970s!
The style still looks very contemporary today, and fits into both modern and retro-inspired interiors.

A true icon of British furniture history, these tables are not just functional pieces but also a celebration of post-war modernist design.
A Piece of British Design Heritage
