70's G plan Teak two door cabinet
Designed by Victor Bramwell Wilkins for Gplan.
 
It is made in 1970s by G Plan out of exotic timers mostly Burmese Teak(a mellow medium light teak colour) .
The cuts were carefully chosen to accentuate the wood figuring and grain which was reveled to its full effect in the restoration.

The very best materials were used in making it available at this period
t's well constructed and fronted with 2 nicely grained doors, each of which is fitted with a well sculpted solid teak handle.
The internal compartment is fitted with a height adjustable half depth shelf, while an inset plinth provides a pleasing means of support.

The piece has a beautiful teak grain, warm tones, and rich colors throughout.
The cabinet is of compact proportions and ideal for multiple areas within the home.
Would be ideal for a turntable based hifi stand and utilising as a storage cupboard for vinyl records.
Perfect too for small homes as a compact sideboard or TV stand

Professionally restored
This piece is in very good restored condition, however it bear some of the scars of a life already lived and 2 small repairs at its right hand side. (pictured)
We have carefully stripped the top, front doors and sides of the sideboard and refinished it with a coat of matt lacquer for a durable and lasting finish.
We have cleaned and re-polished the interior and shelf and they are in good condition.
