This delightful restored table was designed and manufactured by Ercol one of Britain’s furniture manufacturing giants.

The Ercol Windsor Model 454 oval coffee table is a true classic of mid-century British design, created by the brand's founder, Lucian Ercolani, in the 1950s.
Like all Ercol furniture, this piece features a superb design and has been manufactured to a high standard.

The model 454 oval-shaped coffee table is constructed of solid elm and beech.
The coffee table has a solid elm top and stands on a beech leg frame including a magazine rack underneath.
 
Beautiful simplistic design that is perfect for compact living where space is at a premium, the fluid curves and tapered table legs offer a simple and distinctively Ercol design.
Part of The Windsor range originally Designed by Lucian Ercolani an Italian designer – and manufactured in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, Ercol furniture is synonymous with good design, quality materials, craftsmanship and is built for longevity. 
 
Signature materials: 
The oval top is crafted from solid elm, known for its striking and flowing natural grain. 
The legs and lower magazine rack are made of beech, providing a striking structural contrast and exceptional durability. 
Lower magazine rack: It features a lower shelf composed of independent wooden slats, originally designed to organize magazines and newspapers without visually cluttering the piece. 
 
Iconic structure: 
Its round, slender legs taper to a subtle outward angle, a signature of the Ercol Windsor furniture range.
 
 
This is a real eye-catching piece of furniture that is no more in production today.
 
Condition:
In  very good restored condition. 
Fully restored with a wax finish.
Still  minimal signs of age and previous use as to be expected.
