A beautifully crafted Danish teak wall mirror by Pedersen & Hansen, dating from the 1950s 60s.
The design features an elegant sculptural frame that subtly flares toward the base, complemented by a small integrated shelf and exposed dowels, a detail that defines much of Pedersen & Hansen’s refined work.
The teak has developed a rich, warm patina and the mirror retains its original glass. Perfect for use in a hallway, bedroom, or dressing area, it brings timeless Danish style and craftsmanship to any interior.
The teak wood has been fully restored.
These lovely mirrors are great for hallways or bathrooms , as the shelf is useful for placing small items .
It’s a good size for a Danish mirror as most you see are smaller in size .
It dates to the 1960’s and has lovely simple detailing.
Pedersen and Hansen were a niche Danish maker at the time as they only seem to have made mirrors .
Some Danish makers specialised in beds , others in dining chairs , but for this company it was mirrors .
