Vintage Thonet chair, perfect as a dining, office or occasional chair.

 

An Art Deco period piece that will stand out at any styled home

The model with armrests is one of the most accomplished examples of the steam-bent wood technique: lightweight structure, continuous line from the armrests to the backrest, and flared saber legs.


This chair features:

Round seat .
Curved back rest with lovely stepped detail
The chair rests on rounded legs connected by stretchers, offering structural balance and a classic profile.
Bentwood construction.
Lovely patina and original condition. 
Beautiful golden honey tone
Materials: Bent beechwood

 

Whether used as a dining room or office chair, it is sure to turn heads.

The chairs has been fixed where necessary, now structurally sound.
Showing wear and tear commensurate with use and age( round seat and visible wear to the wood surface.)
The original label is no present
