Art Deco tilt-top tables crafted from  oak provide a distinct aesthetic blend of geometric geometric stability and traditional English utility. 
While highly decorative scalloped or "pie-crust" edges are most common on 19th-century Victorian and Georgian revival furniture, the 1920s and 1930s combined these shapes with clean Art Deco structures.
 
This example features a minimalist geometric style typical of the 1930s. 
Rather than a traditional tripod pedestal, this piece sits on distinctive angular stretchers.
Finely scalloped edge profile with a striking segmented pattern that radiates from the cnetre, adding a subtle visual interest.
Folding mechanisms: This use a trestle support in the shape of a lyre, a wishbone
English oak, showcasing a prominent grain and nice honey tone.
Space-Saving Mechanism.
The top quickly pivots from a horizontal dining/display position to a vertical alignment. 
This lets you store the table flat against a wall when it is not actively in use.
Top made of plywood with oak veneer, base made of solid oak.
 
An extremely useful table that can be put to any number of uses, that obviously seen some wear over time which only improves its appearance and intrigue as to what history it holds. 
 
Condition:
Very good restored condition.
The original finish has been carefully stripped, now refinished and revived the natural tone 
Still showing traces of use and character built over the years
