An Impressive British filing cabinet with a dry bar drawer

Made by Desks Ltd. London which was a notable British manufacturer of office furniture.
They specialized in high-quality Art Deco office furniture.
Production peaked during the 1920s and 1930s.

It cleverly converts deep legal file storage into a hidden hospitality station for celebrating business milestones and celebrate closings.
It is of amazing quality, it is sturdy, very well built and is a very useful size.
The oak grain patterns are beautiful and the colour is outstanding.
 
Features:
Constructed with four drawers set within a solid oak carcass.
The drawer fronts and all body display pronounced quarter-sawn grain, each fitted with shaped brass pull handles.
Original built in bottom drawer into a secret dry bar.
Drawer with original internal runners and deep drawer capacity are visible in the open examples, designed for foolscap or document storage.
Full oak sides (non panelled) and a plinth base.
Traditional handcrafted dovetail joints on drawers.

We have the brass hardware sitting in place with none missing.
The drawers are running fine and are clean inside -
Few age marks to the bar accessories and to the body (small chip at the top drawer, right upper side).
The cabinet has been carefully cleaned.
