Fore edges are defined by their highly stylized, geometric profiles that emphasize architectural lines and streamliner aesthetics. The "fore edge" refers to the prominent front or outer perimeter profile of the tabletop, sculpted into stepped, reeded, or fluted patterns characteristic of the 1920s to 1940s design movement.
Stepped / Tiered Moldings on its legs: Profiles mimicking skyscrapers, featuring multiple linear drop-offs along the outer edge.

The company operated during the first half of the 20th century and closed its doors between the late 1950s and early 1960s.
Founder and Origin: The firm was linked to William Brookes, whose family managed various commercial and real estate businesses in the area, including pawnshops and jewelry stores.
Style and Production: They specialized in fine, high-quality furniture. They are well known in the UK antiques market for their Edwardian-style pieces, mahogany bureaus, dining tables, sideboards, and period chairs with the trademark "SEM-PAR" engraved or labelled on the back.
