Made of Black figured walnut and maple
It has incredibly beautiful walnut grain patterns and colour tones all over.Black walnut is known for its rich, dark color and can sometimes display lighter sapwood. The curly figure adds an extra layer of visual interest to the wood, making it unique and valuable.
It is a great size and is of outstanding quality. 
There is lots of storage inside the generous drawers.6 drawers with dovetail joints of different sizes.It sits on bracket/stepped feetLovely carved maple corners. The original handles are beautifully made from walnut.Nice stepped edge at the back of the unit
