A large British floor lamp with stylish turned detail. 
Made most probably in the 1920/30s

A Lovely antique Mahogany standard lamp, dating from the early to mid-20th century and showcasing elegant, traditional English craftsmanship.
This tall floor lamp base features a beautifully turned column rising from a broad circular base giving it both lovely presence and excellent stability.
The finely stem terminates in a bulbous turn.
This unique detail at the bottom of its column gives visual presence .
The mahogany has developed a rich, warm tone over time, with attractive grain and surface character that adds depth and authenticity.
 
It is made from hand turned wood with a beautifully chocolate colour. 
The dish base stands on 3 bun feet.
Solid centre column of the highest order with a delightful colour and shape
Raised solid circular large and thick base.
With brass fitting with switch on button
(B22 bayonet bulb not included).
